Make your first design

Start with a word. Give it character. Export something worth sharing.

1. Create a layer

Open the studio and choose a font, color, and size in the first-layer popup. Add your text, then explore font categories such as luxury, rich, and modern.

2. Style your words

Try an effect, background, or sticker. Drag a layer to move it and drag its corner handles to resize it. Click an empty area to deselect.

3. Save and export

Save your project to your account so you can return to it. Export a project JSON as an extra editable copy. Choose an image, animation, or web export for sharing.

Know your export options

PNG is a still image of the current frame. Choose a transparent background when you need a cutout.
Animated GIF and video export depend on browser support and available memory. Large canvases and long animations take more time.
Video format availability varies by browser. Choose an available option in the export panel; MP4 is not guaranteed on every device.
HTML, embed, and React exports use JavaScript for motion. Google Fonts need an internet connection.
Use a current desktop Chrome or Edge for the first beta. Mobile and other browsers still need launch testing.

The browser's local draft is a convenience. Use account saves or download project JSON for work you want to keep.
